DeVal Bathrooms – every detail taken care of

The result looks amazing and works really well, with a much more spacious feel to the rooms than before, despite not having moved any walls. The feel of quality throughout is of the 5-star level I was seeking, so after many years of anticipation this has been a very worthwhile renovation. My thanks to James and all at DeVal Bathrooms.’

‘I would highly recommend DeVal Bathrooms.  I immediately liked Cheryl and James when they visited me at home.  They were very knowledgeable but not at all pushy and there was definitely no hard sell.  I had a few ideas for the design of our ensuite but to be fair changed my mind a few times and Cheryl was very patient and very helpful in trying to source the products I wanted as well as coming up with new ideas for layout and how to cut costs.

Once they started the work, James and his apprentice always turned up when they said they would (and if they were delayed for any reason they always contacted me to let me know).  Their attention to detail was excellent and after each day they always cleaned up after themselves.  Both Cheryl and James are very personable and I always felt that if there were any problems they would immediately try and rectify the situation which gave me complete peace of mind. We are delighted with our new ensuite bathroom and with the DeVal bathroom experience from the first phone call through to their excellent after sales customer service!’

‘It was clear from the start of the project that we had gone up a gear. Up till now, when doing a bathroom we had gone for the everyday option, with very little in the way of elegance or smooth finish.

This was different. Our admittedly fairly small project was taken very seriously by Cheryl and James when they visited together. No tut-tutting, no disapproving frowns, no sharp intakes of breath as the terrible bodging and problems of a cheap bathroom conversion of the 1980s were revealed. Instead we got solutions, focus, high standards and attention to detail.

The estimate took account of our original budget, with alternative cost options included without being asked for, a winning touch. We were kept informed about the start date, and when the work got under way it was clear that both James and Dan are the kind of people it is easy to have working in your house. Nothing is too much trouble, and the outcome is something far nicer than we envisaged, or would have thought of for ourselves.

We are very pleased with the results. We have a very swish guest room en suite shower room, and visitors queueing up to come and use it. When we get round to updating our other bathrooms we shall go straight to James and Cheryl.’

“We originally picked DeVal Bathrooms because we wanted to support local businesses. We didn’t know anything about the company and have been delighted with the service we received. Our new family bathroom is fantastic and a real pleasure to use. The shower is so much more powerful as it is attached to a pump and the bath feels very indulgent with a new lighting design to brighten it up. The biggest difference was having a water softener fitted which has made everything so much easier to keep clean.

James gave us great ideas at the pre-installation stage and has also provided excellent after sales support to smooth out a teething problem. I feel we were very well kept in the picture during installation and were able to make slight alterations as we went along. The job took a little longer than expected due to a previous ‘plumber’ doing some unusual work but James took a lot of care and extra hours to make sure that the new work was perfect. I would be very happy to recommend James and Cheryl to anyone and am looking forward to organising a new ensuite as soon as I can afford it!”
